GeetaVani — Terms of Service
1. Agreement
By creating a GeetaVani account or using the GeetaVani mobile application ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms form a binding agreement between you ("you", "the User") and Astrocorp Techlab Pvt Ltd ("we", "us").
2. Who may use the Service
- You must be at least 13 years old (16 in EEA countries where applicable).
- You must be able to form a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction.
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
3. Account
You sign in with a phone number using a one-time password. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your phone number and device secure.
- Activity that occurs under your account.
- Notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
We may refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our discretion when we believe these Terms have been violated.
4. The Service
GeetaVani provides access to the Bhagavad Gita (text, audio, commentary), a spiritual-practice tracking system (streaks, sankalpams, karma tracking), and an AI companion named Keshav for spiritual conversation.
The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use as a spiritual-practice aid. It is not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal, financial, or religious-authority advice.
5. Keshav AI — important disclosures
Keshav is a large-language-model-based conversational assistant. You acknowledge and agree that:
- Keshav is not a human. You are interacting with a software system.
- Keshav can make mistakes. Statements about scripture, history, theology, and practice should be verified against primary sources before being relied upon.
- Keshav is not a crisis-response system. If you are experiencing a mental-health emergency or are in danger, please contact your local emergency services or a qualified professional. Keshav is not designed to handle such situations.
- Keshav's outputs are not sectarian authorities. GeetaVani respects all traditional interpretations of the Bhagavad Gita; Keshav's responses are drawn from multiple schools and should not be mistaken for a ruling of any specific sampradaya.
- Conversations may be used to improve the Service on your account. See the Privacy Policy for details.
6. Subscriptions and payments
Certain features may require a paid subscription ("Premium"). If you subscribe:
- Billing is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) under their respective terms.
- Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. Cancel anytime in the App Store / Play Store subscription settings.
- Refund eligibility follows the platform's refund policy.
- Free trials, where offered, convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
We reserve the right to modify subscription tiers, pricing, and features with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
7. User content
You may create content in the Service (journal entries, reflections, bookmarks, messages to Keshav). You retain ownership of that content.
By creating such content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you and providing features you use.
You agree not to submit content that:
- Violates any law or third-party rights.
- Is abusive, hateful, or discriminatory toward any person or group.
- Infringes intellectual property or privacy of others.
- Is intended to manipulate or jailbreak Keshav into harmful outputs.
We may remove content that violates these Terms.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
- Use the Service to build a competing product by scraping our content.
- Interfere with the Service's infrastructure, attempt unauthorized access, or probe for vulnerabilities outside a responsible-disclosure framework.
- Share your account credentials.
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
Responsible-disclosure reports of security vulnerabilities are welcome at security@geetavani.io.
9. Intellectual property

- You may share screenshots and quotes from the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes with attribution.
10. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third-party services (Google Gemini for AI, Firebase for notifications, Sentry for crash reporting, etc.). Your use of those features is also subject to the providers' terms and privacy policies. Our Privacy Policy lists these providers.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless us and our affiliates, officers, and employees from any claim arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) content you submit, or (c) your use of the Service in violation of law.
14. Termination
You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your personal data is removed per the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, with or without notice, and with or without refund for unexpired paid periods depending on the nature of the violation.
